This AUP applies to clients hosted on Emsden Studio's managed infrastructure. It's referenced by the Hosting Services Agreement.
Prohibited content
You must not host or distribute:
- Unlawful content under Australian or applicable foreign law
- Material that incites violence, hatred, or discrimination
- Misleading, deceptive, or defamatory material
- Content that infringes third-party intellectual property
- Personal information collected without proper consent
- Adult or explicit content
- Pirated software, cracks, keygens
- Malware, exploit toolkits, or hacking tools
Prohibited technical activities
- Unsolicited bulk email (spam)
- Phishing or other deceptive communications
- Crypto mining or compute-intensive workloads not agreed at onboarding
- Operating an open relay, open proxy, or open recursive DNS
- Scanning, probing, or attacking other systems
- Hosting torrent trackers or file-sharing services
- DDoS amplification
- Circumvention of resource limits
Resource use
Hosting tiers are designed for typical small-business traffic. Sustained use beyond tier limits triggers a tier-upgrade conversation. Severe overuse may result in rate-limiting or suspension to protect other clients on the shared infrastructure.
Reporting violations
If you believe content hosted by Emsden Studio infringes your rights or breaches this AUP, email abuse@emsden.studio with details. We investigate within 5 business days.
Suspension
We may suspend or terminate hosting if this AUP is breached. Termination follows the procedure in your Hosting Services Agreement.
